Yey! The Ting Tings sophomore album is on the horizon!! This is their first video from the upcoming album: “Hang It Up” (by TheTingTingsVEVO)
Ji Lee, former Creative Director of Google, now at Facebook just published a book called Word as Image.
These are pretty good, but I really think you can’t appreciate these without seeing the book Watching Words Move by Ivan Chermayeff and Tom Geismar. For me, Words is a pretty amazing example of stripping a word down to the most essential elements and still be able to know the definition. Without color, illustration, or even motion.

prettyclever shares a video from Fountain highlighting Rui Abreu’s latest typeface family, Aria. As I mentioned on Twitter, sometimes all you need is roman & italic.
This Kinetic Typography project was created from dialogue from Conan O’Brien’s final episode of The Tonight Show on NBC. In this dialogue he describes his feelings about NBC and the situation at hand. His personality exudes positivity and humor and this dialogue describes his character very well. Even through the hardships of leaving NBC he promotes hard work and kindness.
A little slow, but still a very nice example of kinetic typography. Is it bad that it reminds me of the wall Lou Dorfsman created for CBS? Or is that funny?

I’m in love with her voice. I have listened to this 5 times already.
Some of the sounds are a little repetitive, but overall this is a really beautiful remix of Snow White.
Nick Bertke (aka Pogo) has just released another masterpiece onto Youtube. This time around it’s the vocal samples, musical chords, and sound effects from Snow White that get sliced and diced.
